How Can You Help?

Childcan is supported only by the generosity of individual donors, businesses, service clubs, associations, employee charitable groups, payroll deductions, third party-special events, church groups, and foundations. We receive no government, United Way or Canadian Cancer Society funding for our operations.

Parents, sibling, grandparents, family and friends are deeply affected by a child’s diagnosis of cancer. Imagine how you would feel? Then, imagine how you can help.  

Giving a gift makes the greatest impact and ensures that Childcan will be there when families need us the most. Any size of gift is greatly appreciated and makes a difference in the lives of hundred’s of children and their families.

Childcan accepts donations from the general public via cash (in person), cheque or money order.

Monthly Donor

Giving monthly is one of the strongest statements of commitment you can make and enables your donation to go even further.  Monthly support is so important to Childcan as we can count on your gift and plan ahead. It is a cost effective, reliable and consistent source of funding for Childcan. A gift of $10, $20, or $30 (just $1 a day) will make a difference.

Workplace Events

Does your workplace have an event they could share with Childcan? Your company can make a difference by providing a donation or proceeds from:

Casual days at work

• Raffles and/or Silent Auctions
• Company Golf Tournament or other events
• Matching Gifts Program

Third Party Events
Many friends, extended family members and community volunteers run annual events throughout the year to raise funds and awareness about Childcan and the impact of childhood cancer on children and their families.

Special Occasions/In Celebration/ In Honour

Join the very special group of donors who share their special occasion by making a donation in lieu of gifts. Such celebrations can include: birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, weddings, Christmas, Hanukkah, Chinese New Year and showers.

In Memoriam

Childcan will notify the next of kin when a gift is made in memory of a loved one. Please insure the information is provided with donation.
