Childcan Scholarships

Thank you for you interest in applying for a Childcan Post Secondary Bursary. Each year a selection committee of the Board of Directors of Childcan reviews potential candidates in a blind selection process.

Childcan annually issues 4-$1,000 Bursaries to Childhood Cancer Survivors pursuing a post secondary education.

Eligibility for scholarship is that you were diagnosed through the Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario’s Paediatric Oncology services at London Health Sciences Centre, London, Ontario.

Candidates are welcome to apply each year of their academic year if they were not successful in receiving a Childcan Bursary on first attempt. Successful candidates are not eligible to apply once they have received a Post Secondary Bursary from Childcan.

All applications are due to the Childcan offices by June 30th of each year and successful candidates are notified no later than September 15th.
