Story:
Diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor (cancer of the kidney) on December 7, 1998.
Kaitlyn’s first chemo treatment was on Christmas Day - December 25, 1998.
Kaitlyn maintained her beautiful smile throughout the course of her treatment. She and her dad always made the nurses laugh with her bright personality. We made wonderful new friends throughout her journey. We celebrated her last chemo treatment on her Dad’s 31st birthday - March 31, 2000. What a celebration it was!

We (Sandra & Mike) count our blessings everyday for Kaitlyn’s recovery. Kaitlyn is a very active 9 year old girl and has scored 6 goals in soccer this year. Kaitlyn wants to be a school teacher when she grows up. We love her very much.
