Story
After several repeated emergency room visits, Kyle was diagnosed with Choroid Plexus Carcinoma (Brain Tumour) in October 2002 at the age of 18 months.

On Halloween that year, Kyle underwent a 16 hour surgery to remove his tumour. Two weeks later he began his first of many Chemotherapy sessions. By August of 2003 Kyle had had four more surgeries; two to remove scar tissue, one to insert a port-a-cath and one to insert a shunt. He lost his ability to walk after two of these surgeries. Each time Kyle showed us he was a fighter and we were amazed at how quickly and determined he was to walk again.

On his many long hospital visits, Kyle became well recognized as the boy who had to continuously roam the halls in his stroller.

In June 2003, Kyle had an MRI scan that showed no sign of the tumour. However by August, after exhibiting symptoms similar to his initial diagnosis, a CAT scan showed that the tumour had come back. Due to the location of the brain tumour this time, surgery was not an option.

In September 2003, three weeks after becoming a big brother, Kyle passed away in the hospital at the age of two and a half.
